Prepaid 4G Smartphone Upgrade Promo FAQs

For a limited time, select 3G smartphone customers can get a one-time, $50 account credit when upgrading an active 3G prepaid smartphone to a 4G prepaid smartphone.

• Eligible customers will receive a text message with the offer details.
• You must upgrade from a 3G to a 4G prepaid smartphone and renew your plan at least 2 times.
• A $50 credit will be added to your account after making the second plan renewal.

There is no need to sign up. Everyone receiving the promotion message from Verizon Wireless is eligible.

It only takes a few steps to upgrade your phone.

1. Purchase a 4G prepaid smartphone at any third-party retailer or Authorized Retailer.
2. Switch your smartphone in My Verizon:
   
   1. Sign in to My Verizon with your current prepaid mobile number.
   2. Select Change Device from the menu.
   3. Enter your new device ID* and click Next.
   4. Enter your new SIM card ID and click Next.
   5. Click Confirm.

You'll receive your $50 account credit after you upgrade to a 4G smartphone and renew your plan 2 times.
