Get a Free Cell Phone After Promo Credit

How can I get a free phone?

Cell phones are often associated with a high cost, which may deter people from upgrading to a new device. But that doesn't have to be the case. Verizon offers different promotions available throughout the year that can allow you to get discounted smartphones from top brands like Apple, Samsung, Google and more. Additionally, we offer many cell phones that are free after a 36 month bill incentive credit, which can be a great option for those looking for a new phone while on a budget. You are generally required to keep that line on a particular plan in order to qualify and remain eligible to receive the bill incentive credit.

If you're wondering how to get these great deals, start by exploring the multiple free phone promotion options that exist currently. Some promotions, like bringing your own device (BYOD) or trading-in your old smartphone, can allow you to bring over or trade-in an eligible phone for a brand new one. Additionally, you can get a certified pre-owned (“CPO”) phone (including the latest Apple and Android devices) from Verizon, with applicable promotions. Finally, there are occasions when buy-one-get-one free promotions are running, which is a great way to save if the entire family needs an upgrade.

To explore which devices are currently eligible for promotions, you can browse Verizon's smartphone deals today.

Additional free and reduced price options

In addition to Verizon's promotions and discounts, there are government programs available for both individuals and households that offer free or reduced price cell phones. In the modern age, having a phone that you and your family can rely on is essential, and programs like the Lifeline Assistance Program and Life Wireless can aid you in subsidizing a device or service if you can't cover the cost on your own.

Those who qualify for other government programs like SNAP, Medicaid, and so forth may be eligible for other free phone programs, depending on the state you live in and your preferred service provider.

No matter which brand you're interested in, there is likely a phone option available to you. Between Apple, Samsung, Google and others, explore Verizon's cell phone deals to learn which promotions you may be eligible for today.
